Citroën Celebrates Holidays at The Epoqu´Auto Show

CITROËN is celebrating the vacation spirit at the 35th Epoqu’Auto Show in Lyon from 8 to 10 November, with a range of heritage models on display.

The Epoqu’Auto Show is a stand-out event for collectors and fans of vintage vehicles, drawing over 43,000 visitors in 2012.

For three days, the CITROËN Village and its 17 enthusiasts’ clubs will be displaying legendary models, each one with a holiday-themed story to tell. Childhood memories will be stirred in vintage car fans through contact with popular cars like the 2CV and Rosalie, original vehicles including an XM 2.1 L TD Tissier, and emblematic models such as the Traction Avant and DS.

This year’s Epoqu’Auto Show is also paying homage to the great coachbuilders of the past. For the special tribute, CITROËN Heritage, the Brand’s heritage department, is presenting the 1968 Presidential DS 21 ordered by Charles de Gaulle from Henri Chapron. In an entirely different register, the Brand is also displaying the Besset-converted CITROËN U23 bus that transported passengers from town to town in France in the 1950s with their luggage on its roof.

Rubbing shoulders with these vintage classics will be the GTbyCITROËN concept car, a huge success at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and winner of the 2008 Louis Vuitton Classic Concept award.
